Fairbanks 3052 Series indicators are intrinsically safe, ultra-low-power instruments. They offer the convenience of a versatile electronic indicator with features required in hazardous areas, eliminating the need for traditional explosion-proof enclosures or purging systems.

Since Fairbanks 3052 Series Digital Weight Indicators are battery powered, they can be used in hazardous areas for up to 50 hours of continuous operation or up to 250 hours if the auto shutoff is activated. When used with the rechargeable battery pack, the 3052 is FM approved for Classes l, Il & Ill, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D, F & G. As an alternative power source for certain applications (Groups C, D, E, F and G), you can use Fairbanks' 5816 direct power supply accessory, eliminating the need for a battery.
